Leonard gombert

Len is third generation with five decades of experience in the coatings industry.  Len has a wealth of information and solutions for various projects.  He handles new business as well as product development and business management.

Len sits on the national board of directors for the Polyurea Development Association and was a founding member of Envirochem Technologies, the “ORIGINAL POLYUREA GROUP”.

Len is the past president of the Master Painters Association of Nassau and Suffolk counties.  He is also a past trustee to the Painters Industry Promotional Fund, The Painters Insurance Welfare Fund and The Painters Annuity Fund.

He is a member of the St. James Fire Department and a volunteer for over 40 years.  He is presently serving his 4th, 5 year term as commissioner of the St. James Fire District.

J.R. is fourth generation in this long time family business.  J.R. has been a member of local union 1486, Painters & Allied Trades for over 20 years, acquiring experience & expertise in all aspects of special coatings.

J.R. overseas the day to day operations of The Gombert Organization.  He is in charge of all manners concerning field work, such as installation  crews, equipment and materials.  J.R. is also the Safety Officer, preparing site specific safety plans as well as submittals, M.S.D.S. sheets and other required information.

Constantly updating his own O.S.H.A. training, J.R. also, provides for The Gombert Organization employees to continue in their safety training. 

In addition, J.R. has been an active member of the St. James Fire Department for over 20 years, and was a junior fireman for 9 years, serving as captain for 2 terms. J.R. is proud to continue in this family business providing construction services and solutions for over 70 years.
